Overview

The Department of Library and Information Sciences (LIS) offers financial support and scholarships for its undergraduate and graduate students to recognize exceptional academic and creative accomplishments.  Alumni and friends of the Department of Library and Information Sciences have been generous in providing financial support for student scholarships.  

Students admitted and enrolled in our undergraduate and graduate programs are eligible to apply for financial assistance and scholarships administered by the LIS Students Affairs Committee.  Selection recipients is based on merit and the availability of funding in each academic year. Applicants must be fully admitted to one of the LIS undergraduate or graduate programs and enrolled in courses the year the award is given.
