Weather forecasts say this weekend will be beautiful-- perfect for the BASANT Kite Festival! Join the Pakistani Student Association for kite flying, food, henna, and outdoor fun at North Lakes Park, Pavilion 3 on Saturday, April 23 from 12:30p.m. to 4 p.m.

Olga and Yunju meet "Mean Joe" Greene-- On Saturday, Olga and Yunju from the International Center attended the Wingspan Gala at the newly renovated Union. The event was a UNT signature "green tie" formal event that honored excellence in teaching, student success, notable alumni and generous donors.

One of our favorite events of the entire year is FRIDAY, April 15! The International Flag Parade at University Day will start at Marquis Hall at 10:30 a.m., travel through the newly complete Union, and end in the Library Mall. Be sure to use the hashtag ‪#‎UNT‬ or ‪#‎UNTInternational‬ on social media so everyone can see your great photos!

One of our favorite events of the entire year is FRIDAY! The International Flag Parade at University Day is a way to show off how many nations are represented at UNT. If you want to show your pride for your nationality, sign up to carry your nation's flag. Contact the International Center, Marquis Hall 110, at (940) 369-8625 or internationalcenter@unt.edu. Participants are also encouraged to wear something from their countries, whether that is a soccer jersey or a national dress.
