• Woman cited for gun

    CLARENDON — A Ludlow woman is accused of pointing a gun out her car window at a passing motorist.

    Vermont State Police were called just after 6 p.m. Monday by an East Wallingford woman who told police another motorist waived a gun out the window of their vehicle toward her, according to police.

    Police identified the woman as Maria Beauchain, 62, of Ludlow. According to police, a firearm was located in Beauchain’s vehicle.

    She was issued a citation to appear in court in May to face charges of aggravated disorderly conduct.

    The incident occurred near the intersection of routes 7 and 103 in Clarendon.
