The project is in central El Paso at the intersection of SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) and US 62 (Paisano Drive). The limits are from Concepcion St. to Glenwood St. along SH 20.

Current Conditions

SH 20 is a four-lane divided roadway consisting of four travel lanes and an overpass that traverses US 62 and provides eastbound-only traffic on SH 20.

Proposed Improvements

Reconstruction of SH 20 includes the following:

• improved lighting
• improved drainage
• sidewalks
• two roundabouts
• new "T" intersection at El Paso Drive
