The proposed project would improve and repair the bridge at Somerset Road and Leon Creek in southwest San Antonio.

Proposed Improvements

• Repair existing damaged rail on the bridge
• Install crash tested steel rail inside the existing bridge rail
• Repair damaged concrete on the bridge
• Paint concrete to remove graffiti
• Install rock around bridge foundations to protect against scour
• Build new approaches to bridge on each side
• Convert the operation of the bridge from two-way to one-way operation
