The scope of the project involves County Road (CR) 220 from State Highway (SH) 288 to Farm-to-Market Road (FM ) 523 in Angleton.

Proposed Improvements

The proposed improvements would consist of the following:

• Widening CR 220 from two lanes to four lanes from SH 288 to approximately 0.51 mile east of SH 288B
• Extending CR 220 on new location to intersect with FM 523

These improvements require approximately 86 acres of additional right-of-way along the north side of the existing facility.  The total length of the CR 220 improvement project is approximately 3.8 miles.
