US 83 Bridge at Salt Fork Red River

Several options are being considered for the US 83 bridge that spans the Salt Fork Red River, which is in critical need of repair. The truss bridge, built in 1939, is near the site of a famous 1933 showdown between lawmen and outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
