Bobby Littlefield, P.E., is the district engineer for TxDOT's Waco District.

The district comprises eight counties: Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Limestone and McLennan.

Littlefield earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University in 1984 and started his TxDOT career, that same year, as an engineering assistant with the Sulphur Springs Area Office.

He was licensed as a professional engineer by the state of Texas in 1989 and in 1993 was named area engineer in the Sherman Area Office. He was selected as the Paris district engineer in 2003, serving through 2012.

Littlefield was awarded the agency's Dewitt C. Greer Award in 2003 for excellence in the engineering field. A graduate of the Governor's Executive Development Program, he currently serves on the policy boards for the Waco and Killeen-Temple Metropolitan Planning Organizations.
