TxDOT is proposing to reverse the ramps between Boonville Road (FM 158) and SH 21 along SH 6 in Brazos County.

As traffic along SH 6 continues to grow, operational improvements will help ensure adequate mobility is maintained throughout the area.

The proposed project includes:

• Ramp reversal for entrance and exit ramps northbound and south bound between SH 21 and Old Reliance
• Ramp reversal for entrance and exit ramps southbound between Old Reliance and Boonville Road (FM 158)
• Auxiliary lanes between entrance and exit ramps

SH 6 improvements are already under construction between FM 158 and FM 2818; these ramp improvements extend north between FM 158 to SH 21. Construction of the $4.9 million project is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2015.
