The TxDOT Houston District proposes to replace the current Yale Street Bridge at White Oak Bayou in Houston, Harris County.

Current Conditions

The existing Yale Street bridge includes four 11-foot lanes, two in each direction, and a 6-foot sidewalk on both sides of the bridge.

Proposed Improvements

The proposed project includes constructing an expanded Yale Street Bridge with two 14-foot-wide outside lanes, two 11-foot-wide inside lanes and 5-foot wide sidewalks in each direction to improve safety and relieve traffic congestion.
