The San Antonio Traffic Jam Coalition's purpose is to educate and bring awareness for a safer community by focusing on issues, such as drinking and driving, texting and driving, drowsy driving, motorcycle safety and bicycle/pedestrian safety.
The Coalition's primary responsibility is to save lives.
Its mission statement is "To educate the community by providing safe and reliable information for all modes of transportation through collaboration and partnership, thereby saving lives."
The San Antonio Traffic Jam Coalition hosts a networking meeting the second Thursday of every month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 3500 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas (map), to discuss traffic safety issues and brainstorm solutions for a safer commute on Texas highways and roads.
