FEMA Public Assistance helped repair the Carroll Bridge in Brooklyn, New York
As of October 15, 2013, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has distributed more than $1.4 Billion in Individual Assistance grants have been distributed in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. More than $3.2 billion has been awarded to state, local and tribal governments, and more than $74 million in Hazard Mitigation grants.

5,592 survivors received disaster unemployment assistance
More than $1.5B in Small Business Administration low-interest disaster loans approved
More than $3.7B in flood insurance payments made to policy holders
More than 3.2M meals and 2.4M liters of water distributed
Nearly 6.4M cubic yards of debris removed
United States Army Corps of Engineer drained 149.7M gallons of water from New York City area, equivalent to 227 Olympic-sized swimming pools.

40.8 Million awarded for Road and Bridge repair
71.8 Million awarded for Public Buildings rehab
As of December 4, 2013:
117,589 Individual Assistance Applications have been approved
$1 billion has been approved to be paid in Individual & Households Program
