Phi Kappa Tau Directory

Alumni Directory

This year, Phi Kappa Tau will be working with Publishing Concepts (PCI) to create an official Fraternity Directory. PCI is a company that creates and publishes alumni directories for educational, fraternal, and military organizations across the country. The Phi Kappa Tau Directory, last published in 2005, is for member-to-member use and helps the Executive Offices maintain its database.

PCI will contact all members to gather information for the directory. Members will be contacted by email and/or postcard with a toll-free number to call to update their information. Brothers who do not respond may be contacted with a follow up phone call, if necessary. An online update site will be available as well.

The data collected during this project will help strengthen our ability to communicate to alumni, which will in turn drive alumni engagement and maximize contribution back to the Fraternity.

During the update members will be given the opportunity to reserve their printed and/or electronic copy.

Thank you for your participation and for supporting this important Fraternity initiative!

Phi Kappa Tau Directory FAQ

I received an email/postcard/phone call from a company asking for my personal information. They said they were working on a directory for Phi Kappa Tau. Is this a legitimate project, or is it a scam?

Phi Kappa Tau has partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) to produce our new Members directory. PCI is a company located in Dallas that publishes directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities and military organizations across the nation. This project allows Phi Kappa Tau to receive important updates to our database so we know more about our members and how we can better serve you and future members.

Why is it so important that I update my information?

Life moves quickly, and Phi Kappa Tau understands that amidst the hassles of moving, not all alumni think to let us know where they’re going. We undertake a directory project every few years to make sure we’re able to honor our lifelong commitment to members by keeping them connected to their chapters, brothers and the Fraternity at large.

How do I know my information will only be used for directory purposes?

Phi Kappa Tau has a contractual agreement with PCI that states:
a. The names, addresses and information provided to PCI by Phi Kappa Tau for the publication of the directory will be held confidential by PCI, except to the extent that they are utilized in, or in the preparation of, the directory and except as required by court order or law.

b. The directory will be made available only to Phi Kappa Tau members. Upon completion of the project, PCI will return to Phi Kappa Tau any and all electronic files that have been supplied by Phi Kappa Tau or produced by PCI in connection with the directory’s production.

I would like to verify and update my information. How may I do this?

If you have received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a dedicated representative for the Phi Kappa Tau project. The representative will verify all the information we have on file for you and make any updates where needed. One of the numbers for the Phi Kappa Tau Members is 1 (877)875-5959.

If you have received an email with an embedded link, you may go to the online site to review your information. If you have questions, you may call PCI’s customer service desk at 1 (800)395-4724.

Is there a specific time I should call PCI?

Hours of Operation (CT):
Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.

Can anyone purchase a directory?

The Phi Kappa Tau Members Directory is available for sale only to Phi Kappa Tau members.

When will I receive my directory?

The total duration of the directory project is about 12 months. Because we began the project in January 2015, the directories will be distributed in January 2016.

Can I choose some or all of my information not to be printed in the directory?

When you call to update your information, you can tell the representative what information you would prefer to have excluded. You may also communicate this information to the PCI customer service desk (1 (800)395-4724) or to the Executive Offices.

I ordered a package containing the Discounted Companion Airline Certificate, but I haven’t received the post card requesting verification of my address.

For those who purchase a package containing the Discounted Companion Airline Certificate, they will receive a postcard within two-three weeks and will direct them to go to the PCI website to initiate the certificate process by entering their ID # and order # (shown on the postcard) and verify their mailing address. Alternatively, the buyer can call a toll free number (also shown on the postcard) and leave a voicemail to initiate the certificate process.

You will receive a business envelope that contains the guidelines, terms and conditions, as well as the certified voucher from Award Headquarters so you can begin to make your travel arrangements.

  • Basics of the certificate program:
    • The Discounted Companion Airline Certificate allows the holder to purchase two round trip tickets for a bundled rate.
