WE CAN HELP!

Lampasas READS offers one-on-one tutoring in reading for adults.



The mission of Lampasas READS is to provide free, confidential literacy instruction to adults in the Lampasas area; to empower them to reach their full potential as individuals, parents and citizens; and to encourage lifelong learning.

We strive to:
• Provide clear and competent instruction in reading and writing

• Train and maintain a staff of volunteer tutors willing to work with individuals on a
  one-on-one basis, with the goal of meeting the needs of the individuals

• Solicit community support wherever possible, and to promote the program to the public

• Work with funding agencies to ensure that adequate funds are available to maintain and
  improve the program at all levels
