Municipal Court
Assisting Defendants
The Lampasas Municipal Court provides assistance to defendants charged with fine only misdemeanors for the City of Lampasas.Citizens who have received citations from the Lampasas Police Department, Lampasas Code Enforcement, Lampasas Animal Control and/or other city enforcement entities will have their cases heard at the Lampasas Municipal Court.

The municipal judge also serves as a magistrate of the state and has the authority to issue search warrants, emergency protective orders, and arrest warrants. The mission of the court is determined by the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and the Code of Judicial Conduct. The court and all support personnel shall provide equal and impartial justice under the law and process each case efficiently without delay or unnecessary expense. In addition, it is the mission of this court to provide a friendly environment responding to the needs of all persons who come in contact with Lampasas Municipal Court.
