Employment

The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications at the Galveston County Jail for Corrections Deputies. 

Applications are being issued at the Jail Visitation Lobby Desk, 24/7/365 at 5700 Avenue H, Galveston, Texas 77551, for those applicants who reside IN Galveston County.  Applicants will be required to complete an Applicant Information Sheet at the Jail Visitation Lobby Desk to acquire an application for employment.

Applicants who do not reside in Galveston County can contact GCSO to request that an application be mailed by regular mail to begin the hiring process. Check here for employment updates.
