2nd Quarter 2014 Airline Financial Data
U.S. scheduled passenger airlines reported a net profit of $3.6 billion in the second quarter of 2014, up from $507 million in the first quarter of 2014 and $2.2 billion in the second quarter of 2013, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today.

June 2014 U.S. Airline Traffic Data
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines carried 68.6 million systemwide (domestic + international) scheduled service passengers in June 2014, 2.2 percent more than in June 2013.

July Airline On-Time Performance Up, Cancellations Down From Previous Year, June
The nation’s largest airlines posted an on-time arrival rate of 75.6 percent in July, up from both the 73.1 percent on-time rate in July 2013 and the 71.8 percent mark in June 2014, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Air Travel Consumer Report released today.
