The West 7th Street Bridge is a collaborative effort between the City of Fort Worth, TxDOT and Sundt Construction. This popular east‐west thoroughfare connects downtown to the Cultural District. The project replaced the aging West 7th Street Bridge with a new signature structure -- the world's first pre‐cast network arch bridge. The bridge, which combines stunning aesthetics with tremendous value, is estimated to cost $25.9 million and was designed by TxDOT. The bridge opened to motorists on October 9, 2013.
