With kick-off just around the corner, more than 3 million football fans are using Pinterest to help them plan the biggest game day of the year: Super Bowl Sunday.

There are nearly 7 million Pins and 5 million boards related to the Super Bowl. Most of those Pins are in the food and drink category but lots of people are also adding sports Pins.

It’s a great time to add your best tailgate treats, football party favors and sports trivia boards to Pinterest.

It’s time to start reaching men on Pinterest.

While it’s true millions of women love Pinning, men are actually the fastest-growing demographic on Pinterest. In 2014, the number of men using Pinterest doubled, and one-third of all signups come from men. We’re even seeing a 50-50 split between male and female Pinners in emerging markets like India, Korea and Japan. More men use Pinterest in the U.S. every month than read Sports Illustrated and GQ combined.

We’re making lots of product improvements this year so that no matter who you are or where you’re from, you can find things you’re interested in on Pinterest.

After talking to many of our male Pinners, we learned they’re finding Pinterest more and more relevant, a tool to be creative and get stuff done.

So, are you convinced yet? If your desired audience includes men, think about curating boards to appeal just to them....
