Heir of Fire is undoubtedly one of the best books I've ever read. It certainly will be my favorite book of the year. It is gloriously long and kept me occupied for an entire day (night hours included) making me crave to find out more, but also stop reading so that the book won't end just yet.

You think you know Celaena from reading the first two books, right? Oh, but you're so so wrong. In this book we see her more than broken, relentlessly blaming herself for the fates and

As I'm sure you all know by now, I am obsessed with the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. I was ecstatic when Bloomsbury sent me an ARC! Picking up not long after the heart-wrenching end of Crown of Midnight, Sarah J Maas dazzles and entrances readers once more with a phenomenal third

The adrenaline, the heartbreak, and the sweeping epicness of this story just slay me. What the hell am I supposed to do now? *weeps piteously*

Also, I imagine Manon smiling calmly as she rips out your heart. :D

I'm not sure what to say about Heir of Fire. Perhaps I don't need to say anything beyond: it took me months to read it. And I am the kind of crazy passionate reader that finishes good books in a day or two. It's been a while since a book took me longer than a week to read.

So basically:
I liked but had issues with Throne of Glass.
I absolutely LOVED Crown of Midnight.
But this book... this book was so... bloody... sloooooowwwwwww.

I wanted to DNF it so bad. I kept moving it between my "currently read

I just finished this and I cannot -- my thoughts are -- no I can't think straight.

There are so many hot guys in this book that it should be illegal.

My over-hormonal body cannot take reading about these characters while knowing that I cannot have ANY OF THEM.

There's Dorian charming the ever-loving hell out of me:

There's Aedion walking into our lives like:

Then there's Rowan:

This is one of the best books I've read all year.

Heir of Fire begins with Celeana drunk and mistaken for a vagrant in a distant land. She is approached by the fae warrior Rowan, who is sworn to her Aunt Maeve, and they journey together to her realm to meet with her. In order for Celeana to obtain the secrets of the Wyrdmarks from Maeve, she must train with Rowan and prove hers

I buddy read this book with one of my best friends Ginny and we both had the same reaction once we completed this book (even though it was her second time reading this), we were totally mind blown and thought this was yet another amazing novel by Sarah J Maas.

This has been a year of disappointments. From the highly anticipated final installment of The Mortal Instruments series, City of Heavenly Fire, to the "it" book that everyone seems to love but me, We Were Liars, 2014 proved that my luck with over-hype books does not exist. So the last thing I wanted was to have one of my I'd-kill-for books to join the list of let-downs. I'm glad that didn't happen. Heir of Fire was a

Five motherfucking stars. Actually, no. Not five stars. Six motherfucking stars. I laughed and I cried and then I cried some more and it was one of the better overall reading experiences I have ever had. This book has killed me and I am dead.

Honestly I waited for this book for what seems like forever (and it was only nine months, so I can't even imagine what a year of waiting could do to me) and let me tell you: Heir of Fire doesn't disappoint. Heir of fire is, in my opinion, the best book in the series and in a way it feels like a new beginning for it. It's a slow paced book and I can see why someone could be disappointed or bored, but I loved it. I loved how Sarah w

I cannot not write a review about this one. I think my heart has yet to recover from the emotional torture it went through.

I was amazed, angry, terrified, stunned, and devastated. I cried happy and sad tears.

I will incorporate songs from Taylor Swift here just for a little fun. (I adore 1989, by the way.)

I think it's safe to say, after that Crown of Midnight ending, that we are dying for this one.

Here's a badly written ode to express how I feel about this book:

O' booketh,
O' booketh, why are not thou,
here in my hands,
I need you right now.
O' booketh,
O' booketh, if I beg so very hard,
surely the cries of a fangirl,
you will not disregard?

I'm so desperate I'm writing it love poetry.

“She was the heir of ash and fire, and she would bow to no one.”

My love for this series continues to grow and believe me, I didn’t think it could possibly grow any more. I’ve always been supportive of Maas’ writing, perhaps because I read the prequels first as Throne Of Glass had not been published yet so I knew what she was capable of, but she has seriously upped her game with this one. Heir Of Fire was such an entrancing read, a phenomenal addition to

This book picks up right were Crown of Midnight ended, at Celaena arriving in Wendlyn. Or rather at Celeana procrastinating. She is not the person she used to be, for many reasons. The only thing binding her is her oath, the only wish she has is to destroy the ruthless Kind of Adarlan and the only place where she can find answers is Wendlyn. Meanwhile, Chaol has his own battles to fight at

I've been reading a book with the name of Heir of Fire. I'm trying my best to be strong, Heart, but I can't help it when I let out a deep sigh of sadness when a moment with Chaol occurs. Or when Sam is mentioned. Or when the word coward is s

This book is everything. I am overwhelmed and breathless and ecstatic and filled with pain. I love it so much it hurts. It is very different from the first two books in the series, because it's a lot quieter and less action-packed and less focused on the romance, and I know that will not work for everyone, but I loved it. The exploration of the world and the character development blew my mind and wow. Just wow.
