The Voice's Chris Mann Is Engaged to Marry
11 hours ago
There wil be wedding bells for The Voice finalist Chris Mann, who proposed to longtime girlfriend Laura Perloe while the two were vacationing in Napa last month - their first vacation since he competed on the NBC singing competition. "It was beautiful," Mann told People about his May 22 proposal. "It was simple [with] lots of wine." "It was just the two of us," Perloe said while attending the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, in which she has a small role. "With The Voice, we'd been spending so much time with friends and family, See more »

Katy Perry Launching Her Own Record Label
6 hours ago
It looks like Katy Perry's got one heckuva to-do list. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Part of Me star is in the works to launch her own not-yet-named record label. (Suggestions, anyone?) "I'm preparing for it now," she told THR. "And when this record label does come to fruition, I'm going to try and avoid the things that take away any fighting chance for an artist to have financial success. As people are coming to me with opportunities, I'm thinking, 'How would I want to be treated?'" Aside from continuing to fascinate us with her fashion sense, Perry See more »Burn Notice's John C. McGinley on Playing Michael's Mentor: You Can’t Tell If He's a Good Guy

When John C. McGinley was first offered a recurring role as a CIA training officer on Burn Notice, it wasn't too far from how a CIA agent might receive a mission.
"I was coming home on a Monday night. It was about 7 o'clock. The phone rang and my agent said, 'You need to get home and read this script. If you like it, there's an offer for you to go do five episodes of Burn Notice,'" McGinley tells TVGuide.com. "'The only catch is you have to leave tomorrow morning.'"

Kanye West's Cruel Summer Album Set for August
3 hours ago
Pusha T dropped by Hot 97 on Wednesday to say that a) another Clipse album will one day be a part of your life, and b) Cruel Summer, the collaboration record from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music crew, will drop Aug. 7. Will the estival title nail the record, which bears the same name as Kanye's seven-screen Cannes film experience, to summer for sure? We still haven't forgotten the January 2011 declaration, "Watch the Throne is dropping next week!" eight long months before its release. See more »

Monsters University trailer: what have we learned?
Pixar sequels can be hit and miss, but if this new teaser is anything to go by the Monsters, Inc. prequel will be a rib-tickler
Reading this on mobile? Watch the Monsters University trailer here
Pixar have something of a mixed record when it comes to sequels. Toy Story 2 is often considered the best instalment in the trilogy, but last year's Cars 2 felt underpowered after the animation studio had wowed us with Up, Wall-e and Ratatouille in consecutive years. On the other hand, Cars itself wasn't exactly in pole position on the great Pixar See more »
