Write or patch the existing algorithm to include everyone including future users so anyone can potentially be in explore.
Currently the existing algorithm does NOT include any members from June 1st 2013 to current day. How about fixing that?? That's my idea!
Please members speak out or nothing will be done to fix this obvious problem.
October 23, 24th and 25th I sampled over 1/2 of explore and went through to see when folks joined, how many times they had been explored before, and how many groups they were in when they were explored as well as the ratio of views to comments, and views to favs. This information was then sent to Admin to review. A few days…
11th rankedHi Adrena,
Thanks for reporting this.
We have determined this is not a bug, and we do indeed include everybody’s photos in Explore.Regards,

Revert to the "contacts" terminology for accounts that interest you instead of "followers" and "followees"
The identity of a site should be reflected by the choice of terminology:
The term "contact" implies a degree of mutuality - however, the term "follower" does not per se - I would like Flickr to emphasize precisely that "sharing" aspect of the site - also in relation to the recent behaviour of the phone app which allows the user to "follow" tens of thousands of accounts, which effectively kills the aspect of mutuality.

Adverts for Pro members??? Disgraceful.
I bought Pro membership on the promise of no adverts and no you have adverts right at the top of the photostream specifically targeting pro members who paid not to see them.

Flickr auto-generates inappropriate (and invisible) tags for new photos
Hello,
I have just discovered that Flickr automatically generates tags when I upload a new photo - presumably based on some image recognition software - which are not visible to me, and which at least sometimes are inaccurate or even inappropriate.
I just did a test: uploaded a studio photo of my 10-years old daughter (dressed in a kids dress), with no tags, title or description. Within 10 minutes the photo was viewed more than 10 times. As I am a Flickr Pro user, I could see the detailed stats. What I discovered was that the photo was found 5…
16th rankedThanks for your feedback on this important issue. We agree that Flickr members should have more control over autotags, and we’ll add this soon. Also, until we can handle cases like this better, autotags like “bikini” and “swimsuit” are not appropriate, so they have been removed.

Bring notification on in groups discussions
I'm part of a group organizing photowalks every months or so.
And from time to time, some of the members (me included) don't have time to have a llok to new posts).
It would be great to add some kind of notifications when a new discussion is opened (we could choose to enable/disable the notifications obviously).
Thanks guys. :)209th ranked -

Don't sell prints of photos without compensating the photographer.
Don't sell prints of photos uploaded without compensating the photographer. You've annoyed and ticked off enough users with changes to the site, but directly selling our works when only you profit is unconscionable, even if legal.

Group Beta experience
The new group format does not let me see my previous contributions.
I always check that to make sure I am not redundantly posting.237th ranked -
explore????
who the **** picks the photos for "explore"?
the photos that i'm to be seeing are to be"interesting"
and they are not, matter of fact it's the same picture after same picture.
oct 7 2014 there was three photos of a bus sitting in a lot, sitting in a lot.
not what i call "interesting", not to mention the same style shots over and over.
i've always thought it was to inspire or wonder how i can put something like that off, make one think about working with they camera.

Alphabetical list of groups
Bring back the alphabetical LIST of groups to the old version of Flickr! The groups with a photo take up too much room and take a long time to get through.

list groups I belong to alphabetically
I just came from the new beta "groups" page.I belong to over 50 groups so I need the option to list them alphabetically...like I could before.

Allow splitting off part of your 'stream to a new 'stream
Sometimes a photostream gets to the point where there's a clear division in topics... either a joint husband/wife account, or one person but two different hobbies, or a change in interests over time. You still want to keep both parts, and the favorites and many of the friends etc. too, but under two different Flickr accounts. It would be great if there was a simple, fairly automated way to do this via Flickr that would retain everything seamlessly.

Do you seriously show ads as part of people's photo slideshows?? Whose idiot idea was that? Can't you at least have ads off to the side?????

Organize your favorites into subsets
Having the ability to organize your favorites into subsets would be something I'd like to see.

Fix Advanced Search
Hi. Advanced search doesn't seem to work. I wanted to search for some photos of York (the city in the UK). Obviously searching for that word mostly brings up New York so I tried the Advanced Search page and entered the words "New" and "NY" in the "none of these words" box. However, I still get nothing but pictures of New York with those very words (new and NY) appearing in the photo titles. It looks broken to me.

Issue with save after removing the last pic from an album
I moved pics from album to photostream and hit save after each photo was removed from that album. However, after the last pic is moved, the save button is greyed out! I cannot save that album (albeit empty for future use)! When I try to go back to photostream, flickr asks me "are you sure you want to navigate away? your changes will not be saved". Well, I can't save if the save button is greyed out. So when I do get away from this page, that one last photo remains in that album!!!!!! What an aggravation! Flickr has many…

Could you, please, solve the problem with statistics?
Statistics are failing these days. The final number is not the addition of the whole visits.
Could you solve it?
Thanks in advance.
