Developers have submitted the most detailed plans to date for the Corners of Brookfield, listing a number of previously unannounced tenants and offering a first look at a proposed Lowlands Restaurant Group cafe. See the attached slideshow for more.

Marcus Corp. announced The Corners of Brookfield project about three years ago. The Milwaukee-based company is developing the massive retail project on West Blue Mound Road as part of a joint venture.

This time last year, the town approved a $43.4 million tax incremental financing package for the $125 million project, which is expected to include 240,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 150 apartments and a 140,000-square-foot Von Maur department store, the first in Wisconsin for the chain.

Marcus said this summer the project would be a joint venture, although it did not name the partner. That partnership is now finalized, according to Brookfield building and zoning administrator Gary Lake said, but adding a new name means the Corners' TIF agreement with the town and other contracts must be re-approved.

After receiving updated plans this week, Brookfield's town board will meet Tuesday to discuss the agreement with Marcus, as well as Chicago-based Bradford Real Estate Co., according to the meeting agenda. Neither Bradford nor Marcus has responded to requests for comment on the joint venture or new retailers.

New retailers listed on an updated schematic of the Corners project submitted this week include:

  • LuluLemon Athletica
  • Coach
  • Johnston & Murphy
  • Francesca's
  • Lucky Brand
  • Madewell
  • Free People
  • Sephora
  • Baby Gap
  • Paper Source
  • Wisconsin Vision
  • Name of the Game
