The Dallas Cowboys accomplished a couple of important things Thursday night with the 41-28 victory over the Chicago Bears.
First, the team kept its playoff hopes alive
Second, the team earned its ninth victory of the season, guaranteeing it won't finish the season 8-8 for a fourth straight year.
The team rode the sturdy back (and legs) of running back DeMarco Murray and two touchdown receptions by Cole Beasley for the victory.
The win didn't come easily, however, as the Bears staged a furious comeback in front of their fans at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Murray, the National Football League's leading rusher, ran for 179 yards on 32 carries behind an offensive line that rebounded from the previous week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
