Anchorwoman Suspect Says Police Tricked Him

An Arkansas man accused of the murder of a popular Little Rock television anchorwoman testified that the police used threats and tricks to get him to confess to the crime and give different versions of what happened. Curtis Vance testified at a hearing on a defense motion to suppress statements he gave to investigators in the Anne Pressly case.

Stupid Criminal File: Bank Robbery Nailed

If you are going to rob a bank, it might not be a good idea to wear your court-ordered GPS tracking device at the time, as a California man found out this week. Police are crediting the device with helping them solve a bank robbery.

3 Arrested After Missing Teen's Body Found

Wednesday October 7, 2009
Three Kansas men have been arrested after the body of an 18-year-old Kansas woman, missing since September 29, was found in a field on a Missouri farm. An autopsy was scheduled for Keighley Ann Alyea in Kansas City, Missouri.

Alyea was last seen at her apartment around midnight, Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Overland Park. Read more...
