Overview Statement

The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) oversees the development and continuation of 51 centers and institutes at the University of North Texas (UNT), which seek to provide a framework to advance UNT’s goals in service, outreach, interdisciplinary scholarship, and externally funded research and development. They contribute to UNT’s national and international visibility, provide structural research support for faculty and students and contribute to the community’s economic development.
