Christine Hubbard

Christine Hubbard to head Consortium

The North Texas Community College Consortium is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Christine Hubbard as Consortium President. Dr. Hubbard assumes this role effective September 1, 2014 and succeeds Dr. Jesse Jones, who served as President of the North Texas Community College Consortium from 1992 through August 2014.

Dr. Christine Hubbard earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, Master of Arts in Radio, Television, and Film, and Doctor of Philosophy in English from the University of North Texas.

Christine has twenty-five years of experience working in higher education. She has taught at the University of North Texas, the University of Texas at Arlington, and at four of the five campuses of Tarrant County College District.   At UTA, Christine worked as the Coordinator for Developmental Reading and Writing and then as Coordinator of Student Success Programs, which administered the Year One at UTA program and coordinated all academic support services on the UTA campus.
