MPAC Emphasizes Art in Addition to Music
On any given weekday afternoon, the sounds of tubas, horns, violins and other instruments waft down the corridors and through the lobby of the Murchison Performing Arts Center as College of Music students rehearse.
UNT Acquires Gene Puerling Collection
The UNT College of Music has received music written by Grammy-winning vocal arranger and renowned vocalist, the late Gene Puerling, along with musical scores, instrumental arrangements and other memorabilia from Puerling’s widow, Helen.
