UNT to conduct emergency drill

In keeping with UNT’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure campus, the university is partnering with Denton police and fire to conduct a live emergency drill Friday (May 2) at Discovery Park.

The drill, which will begin at 10 a.m., is expected to conclude by noon.

City of Denton Warning Siren Test - April 2, 2014

From City of Denton Emergency Manager:

The City of Denton will be testing the Outdoor Warning Sirens today (April 2, 2014) at noon.  In the event of inclement weather, the tests will be postponed until Wednesday, April 9.

Emergency Management is proud to announce that a new website is under development.

The new Emergency Management website will be updated with:

  • New and intuitive layout that follows existing UNT websites and is easy to nagivate.
  • Up-to-date news concerning emergency management.
  • Access to training material and planning tools.
  • Ability to provide feedback to emergency management.
