Research on multiple aspects of large structures is conducted in many of TTI's Materials and Pavements material durability laboratories, a non-destructive testing laboratory, various material assessment laboratories, and the Civil Engineering High-Bay Laboratory. The Civil Engineering High-Bay Laboratory contains a large structural test laboratory, a materials testing laboratory, electrochemical laboratories, several machine/electronic shops, and general-purpose laboratories.
