Proctored Exams

The Southlake Public Library offers limited proctoring services to students. This service is provided at no charge to Southlake residents. Nonresidents may also utilize this service for a fee of $25 per exam. Contact our Help Desk at 817-748-8247 for more information.


Online Research Databases 

Research Databases are accessible from any computer connected to the Internet. Research scholarly sources for school papers, prepare for tests such as SAT, find home improvement and hobby guides, accelerate your career, find health resources and more. Call the Library's Help Desk at 817-748-8247 for login instructions.

Replaces Reference USA

AtoZdatabases is a Job Search, Reference & Mailing List Database including 30 million business profiles & 220 million residents. Ideal for sales leads mailing lists, market research, employment opportunities, finding friends and relatives, and much more. Use your Southlake Library card number to log in. Get the app.

Worldbook Online is available to Southlake Library customers. Find the Early World of Learning, World Book Kids, World Book Discover, Info Finder, Reference Center, Dramatic Learning and a Spanish language encyclopedia. Call the Library's Help Desk at 817-748-8247 for login instructions.

The Library of Texas website allows users to search multiple Texas library catalogs and other knowledge collections from a single interface. The login username and password are the same as those used with the TexShare databases, which can be obtained from the Help Desk at 817-748-8247.

The TexShare Card Program gives customers of participating libraries the opportunity to check out books from other participating Texas libraries. The Southlake Library is proud to offer this service to its customers. For more information about the program call the Help Desk at 817-748-8243.


Online Services

Free Wireless Internet is available at the Southlake Public Library, in Town Square, at Bob Jones Park, Bicentennial Park, and the Southlake Sports Complex. No login is required, just launch your browser and sign into SLKGuest.

Tolltags can be obtained for new North Texas Tolltag Authority accounts by registering your account through the Library's NTTA Portal, then picking up your new tolltags at the Library. Register up to 3 vehicles. You will need your driver's license, the year, make, model, and license number of the vehicles you would like to register, and a credit card to set up your account online. Call (817) 748-8247 for assistance.

Interlibrary Loans can be requested through our online form.
