Statement by Gov. Perry on Net Neutrality
"Texas' strong economy owes a lot to regulatory certainty and major private investments in critical technology infrastructure. President Obama's call to saddle 21st century technology with outdated, unnecessary regulations from the era of the Great Depression is alarming and will stifle innovation and growth. Instead, we should embrace a business and regulatory climate that encourages competition and empowers consumers with greater choice and access to high-speed Internet and all the business, consumer, education and health care benefits that come with it."

Their bravery and dedication have made our nation a beacon of liberty for more than 238 years, and the standard of service they uphold will allow the United States to continue our leadership on the global stage for many years to come."

Statement by Gov. Perry on Recent Comments Made About Prime Minister Netanyahu by a Senior White House Official
"I'm hopeful the President of the United States shares the complete and total disbelief many of us felt that a senior official working in the West Wing of the White House would use profanity to describe the leader of our greatest ally in the Middle East. The President should demand to know who said this and ask for their resignation as there is absolutely no excuse for such language coming out of the White House. If the President receives no answer as to who said this he should consider making wholesale changes to his staff in order to guard our vital interests and for the sake of maintaining an important relationship with a key ally."
