Crashtastic

Haven't been able to open this app for a couple weeks, since the newest upgrade (except to see that the app is now sponsored by Cadillac, whom I assume is to blame). Despite its relative lousiness before the upgrade (which was good in theory--embedded photos and video, being able to see and add comments, etc.), this was my go-to app, as I always enjoyed reading Slate. Now I hardly ever read it, as trying to read articles in Safari on my iPad is not so good. Get your sh*t together, Slate!

Redesign abomination

I used to use this app to read slate every day. Now, I'm considering deleting the app altogether. The new format is horrific. Articles only shown by most recent or most popular. Old layout organizing them into sections was far neater and showed far more content on screen. And no more saving to instapaper? Awful. It's been a few days now and I still can't navigate this app to find my favorite articles. Please bring back old format!
