After some 7,000 votes, the food truck field has been reduced to two.
Backyard Pops and Bacon and Butts have triumphed over some early favorites, setting up a final round match that sounds more like an awesome meal/dessert combo than a fight to the finish.
But somehow we have to pick between the awesomeness of bacon and the playfulness of watermelon mojito, between the creaminess of a strawberry shortcake pop and the gooeyness of mac n' cheese. (Both, it must be mentioned, offer banana pudding — so if you're looking for a head-to-head taste-off, that might be the way to go.)
The final round of Food Truck Madness will run through Tuesday night. Between now and then, get eating and get voting, through this link or the one below.
Both purveyors will let you know where they'll be — here's Bacon and Butts Facebook page and here's Backyard Pop's— but if you can't get out to visit, click through the photos to see what on their menus.
Happy eating!
