The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Houston District proposes to replace the current Yale Street Bridge at White Oak Bayou in Houston, Harris County.

Current Conditions

The existing Yale Street bridge includes four 11-foot lanes, two in each direction, and a 6-foot sidewalk on both sides of the bridge.

Proposed Improvements

The proposed project includes constructing an expanded Yale Street Bridge with two 14-foot-wide outside lanes, two 11-foot-wide inside lanes and 5-foot wide sidewalks in each direction to improve safety and relieve traffic congestion.
