@BostonDave There are two types of themes, blog themes and member themes. Blog themes can be converted fairly easily into member themes.
@aendrew I'm not expecting many people to be around over the Christmas period, so testing will probably be limited. Jan '09 is a good bet.
RSS feeds for site wide, personal and friend activity streams are now checked in and live at http://testbp.org
Blog directory now checked in and live at: http://testbp.org/blogs
@mael_Linearis You could definitely write a plugin for that.
@mael_Linearis Entering "New York" and "Cats" in the search box would match those users.
Member directory including full member search and featured members is live at http://testbp.org/members/ and now in trunk.
The feature freeze and beta release of all BuddyPress components and themes is set for December 15. http://tinyurl.com/5ryerh
Important changes to be aware of if you are running BuddyPress: http://tinyurl.com/6b5ma5
@yoavf If it's in WordPress then BuddyPress should support it. Does something specific need to be done in the theme?
Functions to promote members to group mods, kick and ban members from groups are now in the BP Groups component. Live on http://testbp.org
@TalkisCheep Make sure you are running WordPress MU first. Then you can download and install BP by following the readme in the download.
@styletime Not any more - you can install BuddyPress on a root domain, sub domain, sub folder, any way you like.
Wire message lists are now paginated for access to all messages - not just the latest five. Check it out on http://testbp.org
Who knew email notifications could cause so much activity on http://testbp.org ? :) Notifications for groups, friends and messages are live.
Still working out some "kinks" with email notifications, sorry if you received duplicate notification emails from testbp.org.
User settings menu now enabled in trunk and testbp.org. Account settings and email notification settings are now working.
Global notifications now enabled in BuddyPress via the "Notifications" menu when logged in. Live on http://testbp.org/
BuddyPress URL structure changed. Member pages are now displayed in domain.com/members/[member-name]. No more home bases.
