Google Street View, Transformed Into a Tiny Planet
Oct 24, 2014 | 110-part series
Chris Heller
I can't get enough of these tiny planet videos. Unlike other versions—like this one, which was filmed with six GoPro cameras and a custom, 3D-printed mount—graphic designer Jonas Naimark made his 360-degree footage entirely from Google's Street View panoramas, then blended it with music by Paul Reiss. Naimark is something of a trailblazer when it comes to manipulating Street View; he previously made this wonderful hyperlapse.
