Proposed Sabinoso Wilderness Management Plan and Environmental Assessment
The BLM is seeking public comment on the Environmental Assessment for the Sabinoso Wilderness Management Plan. This EA analyzes management guidance for resource values and resource uses within Sabinoso Wilderness located in San Miguel County. The proposal includes management of wilderness characteristics, recreational access, cultural and paleontological resources, livestock grazing, and fire management. The comment period closes April 26, 2013. Comments can be sent to:  Tami Torres, BLM Taos Field Office, 226 Cruz Alta Rd., Taos, NM 87571. Comments received in the mail after April 26 will be considered only if postmarked on or before the closing date. Wetland and Arroyo Restoration on the South Side of the Lower Embudo Valley 
The BLM is seeking public comment on the Environmental Assessment for Wetland and Arroyo Restoration on the Southside of the Lower Embudo Valley. This EA analyzes watershed improvement projects in the Rio Embudo Valley proposed by a community group. The projects will address sediment from BLM lands in the valley and restore wetland functions at 2 spring sites. The comment period closes March 21, 2013.

Comments received in the mail after March 21st will be considered only if postmarked on or before the closing date and only if received by March 28th.
