DOVER, Del. -- Kevin Harvick is starting from the optimum position after winning the pole for Sunday's AAA 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway (2 p.m. ET on ESPN).
Stewart Friesen started from sixth-place in a 32-car starting field, Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, steadily worked his way into the No. 1 spot by Lap 32 and easily outran the competition the rest of the distance in the 44th annual Freedom 76 race.

A new NASCAR rule announced on Friday forbids drivers from getting out of their cars during caution periods in races, following an on-track fatality last weekend when three-time champion Tony Stewart struck and killed a driver gesturing at him.
Tony Stewart's plans for the remainder of NASCAR schedule are to be determined, but veteran Jeff Burton is subbing for his good friend Sunday at Michigan International Speedway.
