Fantastic experience

Fantastic, I am a die hard Bengals fan but I live in Barcelona, Spain. I try to go to Cincy for at least one game a year. It's well worth the trip. The stadium is excellent, the fans are passionate but in no way agressive or intimidating to away fans. Even for me traveling alone it's a great experience as the fans in Cincinnati treat you like one of their own. Can't wait to go again this year.

Cincinnati Bengals Tickets
Established by former Cleveland Browns head coach Paul Brown, the Cincinnati Bengals have been a perennial contender for more than 45 years. Whether it was the legendary teams of the 1980s or the surprising squads of the 2000s, Cincy has never been far from the playoffs, and Cincinnati Bengals tickets remain popular among their passionate fan base.

The Cincinnati Bengals are members of the North Division of the AFC in the NFL. The team’s home field is Paul Brown Stadium located in Cincinnati proper. Established in 1968 the Bengals were originally members of the AFL prior to that league’s merger with the NFL. Former owner of the Cleveland Browns, Paul Brown named the Bengals after a team that existed during the late 1930s to early 1940s. Their first few seasons began with a win making demand for Cincinnati Bengals tickets sky high. Their first major success came in 1970 at their new Riverfront Stadium. They shared the stadium with the Cincinnati Reds until the Bengals moved to Paul Brown Stadium in 2000.

The 1980s were some of the best years for the Bengals, especially 1981 when MVP Ken Anderson led Cincinnati to its first Super Bowl appearance. While the Bengals fell short of the title - losing 26-21 to an excellent San Francisco 49ers team - the game helped established them as a force to be reckoned with. They met the 49ers again after the 1988 season in Super Bowl XXII, this time behind the direction of quarterback Boomer Esiason. Once again, they came painfully close to the title, losing 20-16 in the final minutes.

Despite struggles throughout the 1990s, the Bengals returned to prominence in the 2000s thanks to the performance of electrifying young players such as Carson Palmer, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and, more recently, Andy Dalton. Despite playing in the difficult AFC North, Cincinnati is always in contention for a playoff berth.

In 2002 the Bengals moved to the AFC North which contributed to intensifying their contention with intrastate, and now division, rivals the Cleveland Browns. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens round out the team’s remaining division rivals. Owners of several conference and division championship titles as well as having made numerous Playoff appearances, the Bengals have yet to clinch that desirable Super Bowl title.
