Zero cool
It seems like a good app if you live in lower manhattan or the hipster parts of Brooklyn. It's useless to everyone else. As others have pointed out, there are other boroughs in this city and people do live above 96th Street.
What a Waste!
You can almost visualize the meeting at the NYT where the top brass wanted an app that would sell ads, reward ad prospects and incorporate their very limited understanding of "social media." And here you have the fruit of their "forced" efforts. An app that feeds you ads and well as the "unbiased" recos for restaurants, etc. Sorry, not buying it. All this is is an app to push their advertisers. And why would anyone over the age of 10 want to check off the places they've gone to and share it with friends? Very, very lame. Do yourself a favor and save the memory on your device by not downloading this , how can I best say it...garbage?

Amazing app! Made New York into an adventure and playground! Can't wait to check things off the list and discover all of NYC!!!
Days of week in events would be helpful.
