Johnny Cash’s Son Arrested Nearly Naked in Canadian Airport
By Philip Cosores
The son of the late music legend Johnny Cash was arrested yesterday in Newfoundland when police responded to a disturbance at Deer Lake airport.
John Carter Cash was taken into custody for stripping down to his underwear at the airport, where he was returning home after a hunting excursion.
According to CBC News, police responded to reports that a man had missed his flight, and appeared either drunk or to be suffering from some medical issues. Upon assessing the scene, the Canadian cops deemed Cash was indeed drunk.
Officials said that Cash would be released to fly home on Tuesday morning, when he had sobered up.
No charges were being filed against Cash, as he cooperated with authorities and had no previous criminal record. Luckily for Cash, “very few people witnessed the event,” police said. Unluckily for Cash, you know, news got out that the event happened. Sounds like a fun hunting trip, regardless.
