The Austin Ginger Man was the third member of the family, and has been serving fine beers since 1994 in the original location on 4^th Street. Due to changing commercial interests in the downtown area, we moved to our current location just a fraction of a block away. The not-really-old but not-really-new pub has some new things, and a lot of the old pub in it. Like the other Ginger Man pubs, there is an outside beer garden perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon. We think we’ve kept the comfortable feel of the old pub, and, of course, the beer is still the most important thing here. Visit us, your neighborhood pub, ask the bartenders about a particular beer, play a friendly game of darts or sit back and enjoy a pint with your fellow patrons.

The winter holidays are quickly approaching! The Ginger Man is proudly open 365 days a year, with the following holiday hours:

Christmas Eve – open 12pm – 7 pm
Christmas Day – open 6 pm – 2 am

Annual Holiday Tasting

The Ginger Man Annual Holiday Tasting is upon us! This guided tasting is holiday themed and features a selection of eight beers with food pairings. Tickets can be purchased on site for $40 per person while supplies last!
