One of the worst email clients
I am surprised after all these years, yahoo has not figured out how to write a quality email client. Lots of usability issues with this client.
1. It's slow and frequently does not download the message. But I suspect that is the yahoo website, not this client as I've seen this problem on a browser too.
2. The location of the icons for file, spam, delete etc. keep changing depending on what action you are doing. This is annoying and inconsistent.
3. Biggest problem is that the client cannot stay on the last message. If you delete a message, frequently the client jumps to the first message, even if you are deep in the list of messages. Makes you look and search all the time.
4. Search is limited to searching the whole mailbox, not just the folder you are in. Annoying.
In short not a good client. Use the native iOS app for yahoo. Much better interface.
Sad that yahoo is making itself so irrelevant in this space.
Great update if you don't plan on ever being able to use it
Launches and closes automatically. To many emails to read? Don't worry with this update you'll never be able to see, much less read them. Yahoo obviously does not bother to tests there apps. Bug fixes, more like bug additions.
iOS Crash Fix?
Was at least opening before this update. Now screen closes instantly and keep getting "NewMail" notifications all the time that popup but aren't even appearing in notification center. Does anyone actually test on a real iOS device before releasing? Useless.
