Biography
Marc’s practice focuses on media and privacy law, class actions, and general commercial litigation. His media law experience includes representing publishers in litigation involving claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, misappropriation, copyright, and related causes of action. In addition, he has defended companies in consumer class actions across the country relating to advertising and digital privacy. He regularly provides advice regarding website terms of service, arbitration agreements, and privacy law.

  • Assisted with the representation of companies in defending class action claims under federal and state privacy laws, including the Video Privacy Protection Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act
  • Assisted with the representation of companies in defending class action claims under consumer protection and false advertising laws, including in California, Washington, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois
Commercial Litigation
  • Assisted with the representation of various Texas cities in public finance litigation involving sports and entertainment venues
  • Assisted with the representation of companies in trials and appeals of various commercial disputes
