9 a.m. — “Nerds & Bikers,” a short motorcycle rally to raise money and collect books in support of childhood literacy, from Denton to American Eagle Harley-Davidson in Corinth. Event will raise funds for NCTC’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, which in turn will help the Boys and Girls Club of Cooke County and other nonprofits. Registration is $20 per bike. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at Stonehill Center, 5800 N. I-35E.
