I'm a software developer, so I love creating software. I also have a background in architecture and construction. To me, planning, designing, and coding a software system is quite similar to building construction. There is an art to the design and organization, but you have many systems with standards that interact with each other and with the people using it.
In terms of other creative outlets, I occasionally do some abstract art (mostly small ink pen drawings), and I play the piano.
My wife, Leilani, and I currently live in Brooklyn.
