It may be helpful for the contributors of articles on parenting to have feedback from other parents who may have a different perspective on the same topic. The old saying you can't see the forest for the tree's describes the myopic view some parents have for some situations. They appear to be in need of the perspective of someone who has been through what they are experiencing or someone who may be able to offer constructive advice. As it is now they write an opinion piece and it stands as gospel without question.

I'm sure it generates a ton of traffic, but headlines such as "baby would be alive if mom jumped on the rear-facing carseat bandwagon" when the article reads that her boyfriend didn't even buckle him in all the way, are misleading and horrible. Clicks for cash is a common model for paying e-journalists but it's terrible. Please stop.

She wrote an article saying that front-facing child carseats were the cause of a child's death, when actually, the death had nothing to do with the direction the seat was facing, but rather because the child wasn't buckled in all the way when the driver of the car got into an accident. Fearmongering and dishonesty may get people to read an article, but it would be better to be reputable and accurate and a source to be trusted.

Open the comments on ALL Yahoo articles and not require us to be members of other social media sites. If we wanted to be on those sites, we wouldn't be on Yahoo!

Why is Yahoo publishing articles on Yahoo Family that Yahoo members cannot comment on unless they sign in on Facebook, Tumbler, or other non-Yahoo online groups?

Isn't that like Pepsi requiring you to have a Coke membership?

Marissa, it isn't the telecommuters who are screwing up yahoo, it is the stupidity of things like this.

So many ads and pop ups it actually slows down the time it takes for each page to load...and I have the fasted internet conection available.

It would be really nice to see articles about dads more often. Especially single dads. I am a single father and we make up at least 15% of custodial parents in this country. Virtually all your articles are about moms or single moms. Us dads do the same thing and get no representation about our ideas or what we do. Let alone the struggles we endure. I would love to talk to one of your reporters and give them at least a snippet of a single dad's day. Thank you so much for reading.

My daughter wanted to show me the article on a celebrities new house they bought when my younger daughter saw the article on the tooth fairy. Why does Yahoo post such things. You would would think that Yahoo Parenting would be parent friendly, but its clearly not. There should be a switch to block adult content so the entire family can enjoy the rest of the articles.

very disappointed with you yahoo! you have no comment section after the essay by a parent of a bi-racial son, after you allow every racist yahoo spew their hate on every topic under the sun. to add insult to injury, you have it as a headline shortly, then quickly hide it in the parent section. I've been seriously considering cancelling my yahoo account and going with gmail.
