By registering here, you will be counted as part of the growing community of people who view preparedness as a shared responsibility.  You will also be able to collaborate in on-line discussions with peers from different "communities of practice," join regional groups, participate in national preparedness discussions, and get updates from FEMA and emergency management personnel.

America's PrepareAthon!

Who Should Register?


You can register your participation in America's PrepareAthon! as an individual or a family, or on behalf of others in your organization who are participating, such as a workplace or school. Preparedness discussions, preparedness actions (such as signing up for local alerts, safeguarding critical documents), drills, and tabletop exercises are important steps and should be counted!

National PrepareAthon! Days are held every April 30th and September 30th, but you can hold your Days of Action when most convenient

Thank you for your commitment to prepare yourself and others. Your participation showcases how citizens around the country are taking action and sharing the responsibility to be more ready and resilient.
