Take action by planning a National PrepareAthon! Day on or around September 30th. Register Today.
September is National Preparedness Month and we're encouraging everyone to focus on a simple activity to increase preparedness.
On the blog: “The good news is that a large number of American families are aware of the importance of preparing for emergencies. The bad news is that awareness doesn't always translate into action.”
Read more from the Administrator on how you can take one simple, free step toward being prepared.
In the news: "Monday marks the last day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and perhaps its a good time to take stock. As another, hopefully less brutal winter season approaches, FEMA is encouraging you to make a plan ahead of impending winter storms with a new video."
